摘要：No terceiro capítulo do De Principiis Naturae (para o primeiro capítulo, ver Intuitio, 1/1 (2008), p. 125-9; para o segundo, Intuitio 1/2 (2008), p. 329-35), Tomás ensina que há quatro tipos de causas, a saber, a eficiente, a material, a formal e a final; a diferença entre agente natural e agente voluntário; a diferença entre “princípio”, “causa” e “elemento”. No capítulo quatro, aprendemos a relação entre as causas; sobre a divisão de “necessidade” em “absoluta” e “condicional”; os dois tipos de “fim”.
