摘要：Many weapons from the Ancient Past have been found in archaeological contexts defined by its ritual character such as graves, sanctuaries or votive deposits. Precisely from these archaeological contexts came most of the findings of weapons with no military function. Some of them were manipulated (symbolically or physically) for ritual purposes and the others were made for an exclusively ritual or ceremonial function.
