摘要：Through the examination of an episcopal visit to the Murcia cathedral chapter in 1592 and the cases against prebendaries in the diocesan court in the final years of the sixteenth century and early seventeenth century, this work aims to verify how the decrees of the Council of Trent to reform the eclesiastical state were received in the higher clergy.
