摘要：The aim of this paper is to study the information consumption made in the electronic journal Cybermetrics for 2001-2003. As methodology, the web log files transactions made to this journal were analysed. The results provide information about access source, more visited sections and other usability aspects. Next, the paper discusses the utility and use of this information source and particularly the methodological problems raised in this study. Finally, it concludes with the international position of the journal and its visibility in the Bibliometrics and Scientometrics field.
