摘要：The author analyzes a set of short texts from the oral tradition collected in a peripheral area of Chile inhabited by Spanish-speaking people who live in contact with the Mapuche-speaking community. In general, it is a study of the internal relations of signs ( co-text ) and of their connection with the socio-cultural environment ( context ). In particular, the author focuses the analysis on the linguistic resources employed for the expression of humor.
