摘要:The author analyzes the story of a representation of Mary as told in an anonymous manuscript, a Relación Relación , which draws on legal and city council documents, as well as the chronicle of a devotee, contrasts with the contemporary printed text of Juan de Zabaleta, who commented on the anonymous manuscript and then published a list of Our Lady of Madrid's miracles. These texts, very rich as 17th-century ethnographies, are about the loss and recovery of the collective memory, as well as the blending of the oral with the written tradition.
