摘要：This paper examines the issue on domestic violence against women and its impact in the family, as well as the way that it repeats itself through children’s and teenager’s violent acts. Based upon literature review on the subject, it analyzes gender violence and its consequences. Gender violence, which is rooted in patriarchy culture still present in society, needs to be modified through educational and cultural actions that bring reflection about the relevance of building a cooperative and solidarity society, that respects dignity of all people regardless ethnicity, sex, gender or sexual orientation. Therefore, paradigm changing involves cultural and educational changing, implemented in children socialization.
