摘要：Descripción geográfica y análisis documental y espacial del territorio de Ranón de la Arena, cuyos límites se situan en la costa, junto al extremo de uno de los cuartos en que se dividía el antiguo alfoz de Pra via (Asturias), y la desembocadura del principal río de la región. Los primeros indicios de poblamiento lle gan hasta el Paleolítico Inferior con hábitat al aire libre como territorio de caza. Su configuración posterior viene determinada por la existencia de un castro que representa la continuidad en el espacio. La presencia de cultura romana es muy relevante con niveles de ocupación en el castro y varias villae en los alrede dores. El poblamiento altomedieval originará la apa rición de un monasterio con un espacio definido, que se mantendrá desde el siglo XII hasta el siglo XIX. Se trata de un territorio vinculado a las principales vias de caminería medieval costera y el Castillo de San Mar tín, de notable importancia al edificarse sobre el cas tro durante la Monarquía Asturiana.
其他摘要：Geographic description, documental and space analy sis of Ranón de la Arena territory, its frontiers are situated in the coast, beside the limit of one quar ter that divides the ancient Pravia’s Alfoz in Asturias, and the mouth of the most important region ‘s river. The first signals of population go as far back as the lower paleolithic with open air habitat like hunting territory. lts later configuration by the hill fort (cas tro) existence, representing the landscape population continuity. The presence of roman culture is very excellent with occupancy levels inside the hill fort and diverse villae surroundings. The first high medie val population is the origin of a monastery, its defi ned reserved ground remain unalterable from the XII century to XIX century. It is a territory attached to the medieval ‘s most principals ways on the coast and the San Martin Castle, very important because it was founded over the hill fort during the Asturian Monarchy.
