  • 摘要:This paper discusses the practical knowledge of three primary school music teachers, searching for some ways that can guide and sustain their pedagogical practice. Taking Schön and Elbaz’s as the theoretical framework, three case studies where carried out. Data collection involved observations of a sequence of music lessons, semi-structured interviews and stimulation recall sessions, which uses the technique of interview while the teacher watches her own teaching in video. The article discusses some of the processes of teacher’s professional development and the orientations of teacher’s actions in the classroom. The orientations reveal that teacher’s articulated their own knowledge from reflecting upon their educational practices. Thus, the approach attributes a new status to the knowledge teachers use in their educational practice, approximating the theoretical and practical knowledge. The results can also provide insights for the research on teacher thinking and music teacher education.
