摘要：En este artículo se presentan los resultados de un estudio acerca de las características de la situación mental de sujetos que han desarrollado una adicción, en una etapa previa a la decisión de consultar. Esta situación psíquica es relacionada con la dificultad en el proceso de toma de decisión de entrar a tratamiento, propia de estos pacientes. A partir de estos resultados se discute el concepto de motivación a tratamiento y los elementos técnicos asociados a este. También se discute la relevancia de incluir a otros significativos y la importancia de lograr una detención inicial del consumo de drogas.
其他摘要：This article contains the results of a research regarding the characteristics of the mental situation of individuals that have developed an addiction, during the stage previous to seek advice. This psychic situation is related to the difficulty of the decision process involved in entering a treatment, typical in these patients. As from the results, a discussion arises entailing the concept of motivation in relation to a treatment and the technical elements that are associated thereof. It is discussed also, the relevance of including significant others, and the importance of achieving an initial suspension of the drugs consumption.
