摘要:Published in the current issue of the InternationalJournal of Circumpolar Health are fourmanuscripts representing findings from theCanadian International Polar Year (IP) InuitHealth Survey on the inter-related themesof nutrition transition and food insecurityand housing conditions (1-4). These fourmanuscripts provide only a small glimpseinto the quality of life a population residingin 36 remote communities in the CanadianArctic. Our work, thus far, finds that the arcticcommunities are experiencing challenges offundamental importance to the protectionof population health: adequate nutrition andhousing.International Journal of Circumpolar Health 70:5 2011
