摘要：http://dx.doi.org/10.5007/1807-0221.2009v6n8p82Laboratório NEEM: visitas educativas e Matemática Interativa Itinerante são projetos de extensão do programa Núcleo de Estudos de Ensino da Matemática – NEEM, desenvolvido na Universidade Regional de Blumenau (FURB) desde 1996. Esses projetos fundamentam-se na recepção de estudantes e professores que vêm à universidade e na organização de Mostras Interativas Itinerantes de Matemática (MIIM) que são realizadas nas dependências das escolas, a universidade vai às escolas. Os projetos têm como objetivos: contribuir para a desmistificação da matemática; divulgar e disponibilizar materiais didáticos elaborados no âmbito da Universidade; estimular a criação de laboratórios de Matemática nas escolas; contribuir para a formação continuada do professor. As estratégias de ação dão ênfase à construção e exploração pedagógica de materiais didáticos, ao incentivo para o desenvolvimento de atividades interdisciplinares e à orientação para a organização de laboratórios de Matemática nas escolas. No biênio 2008-2009, do projeto - Laboratório NEEM: visitas educativas - participaram, aproximadamente, 2.000 (dois mil) alunos do ensino básico, professores e graduandos, sendo realizadas 55 (cinqüenta e cinco) atividades matemáticas. Foram organizadas e desenvolvidas 9 (nove) Mostras Interativas Itinerantes de Matemática em 4 (quatro) municípios catarinenses (Blumenau, Indaial, Timbó e Rio do Sul), com a participação ativa de cerca de 5.500 (cinco mil e quinhentos) estudantes e profissionais da educação. As ações dos dois projetos têm possibilitado a interação profícua entre a Universidade e as instituições escolares de ensino básico e seus membros, com a desmistificação da matemática como abstrata e de difícil aprendizagem.↓NEEM Laboratory: Educative visits and Interactive Itinerant Mathematics are extension projects of the program called Nucleus of Studies of Mathematics Teaching – NEEM, of the Regional University of Blumenau (FURB) since 1996. Were organized and carried out 9 (nine) Itinerant Interactive Exhibition of Mathematics in 4 (four) municipalities of Santa Catarina (Blumenau, Indaial, Timbó and Rio do Sul), with the active participation of about 5.500 (five thousand and five hundred) students and education professionals. The actions in the two projects have made possible the fruitful interaction between the university and schools and other institutions of education and its members, with the demystification of mathematics as abstract and difficult to learn.
