摘要：A presente intervenção tem por objetivo relatar a experiência do Arquivo Público do Estado da Bahia - APEB no âmbito do Programa de Apoio / Assistência Técnica aos Municípios Baianos para criar / Dinamizar os Arquivos Públicos Municipais. Na década de 80 foram firmados convênios para criar Arquivos Regionais, notadamente aquele do Recôncavo, na cidade de Cachoeira, com a intenção de descentralizar a gestão dos documentos públicos, face à necessidade de organizar e conservar os arquivos históricos da região. A partir de 1991, mediante a definição e implantação de uma nova política de gestão de documentos públicos, o Governo do Estado da Bahia, através da Secretaria da Cultura e Turismo, concedeu uma unidade orçamentária específica ao APEB para dinamizar este Programa. Podemos observar nestes últimos 10 anos resultados significativos, tanto para o fortalecimento do Sistema Estadual de Arquivos, como para a autonomia da gestão municipal, com ênfase para os dispositivos constitucionais e para a legislação arquivística vigente.
其他摘要：This present intervention has the goal to relate the experience of the Public Archives of the State of Bahia – APEB in the range of the suport Program / Technical Assistance to Bahia Municipal Districts to Create / to give dynamism to Municipal Public Archives. In the decade of the 80’s covenants were signed to create Regional Archives, notedly that of Recôncavo, in the city of Cachoeira, with the intention of decentralizing the administration of the public documents, in the face to the need of organize and to conserve the historical files of the region. Since 1991, by means of the definition and implantation of a new public documents administration policy, the Government of the State of Bahia, through the Culture and Tourism Secretariat, conceded a specific budgetary unit to the APEB to increase this Program. We can observe significant results in these last 10 years, as the invigoration of the Archives State System, and the autonomy of the municipal administration, with emphasis on the constitutional devices and present archive legislation.
