摘要：A bibliometric analysis is made on a bibliographical list about Pernambuco state, including information sources from 1965 to 2003. Quantitative and analyzed aspects from the list were selected according to subject areas, depositary libraries, age of collection and governmental institutions as publishers. Results show a complex and a varied panorama about the state reflecting: frequency of themes; amount of source at depositary libraries; number of documents published by governmental institutions; age of the collected sources; and distribution of sources by decade, by themes and by publishers. It can be said that the work shows a partial frame of publishing and bibliographic status of Pernambuco state, proving the dynamism and plurality of local production.
