摘要：The paper reviews the related research literature. It starts with the relationship between teaching and research and the modernity of teachers’ academic development to review the related researches on the academic development of university teachers and then sorts out “the impact of professional title policy on the academic development of university teachers” scattered in various researches. On such a basis, the paper proposes the focus of the follow-up studies.
