摘要：The relation between the public power and the university sport was the subject and starting point of this work. The study it was directed to understand this relation it saw the financing public of the university sport, enters the years of 1982 and 2004, having as research sources documents of the archive of the Federacy Paranaense of University Sports (FDPU) and interviews to the agents who had been part of the direction of the FPDU in the mentioned period. From sociological analysis of the raised data, we look for to identify if it had changes in the relation between the paranaense university sport and the public power, taking in account the different involved agents in this relation, in that it says respect to the financing for the sport. Our main conclusions are that it had changes in the relation between the public power and the paranaense university sport, saw public financing for the sport, between 1982 and 2004, fruit of the occured transformations in the structure of the subcarrier, represented mainly for the conceptual and legal changes, and to the per item busy positions of the involved agents, its capital stock, and the net of relations constituted by the agents; the State was the great financier of the paranaense university sport in the period, keeping with this an almost paternal relation, that was if modifying with elapsing of the years and in accordance with the taking of decision of the inserted agents in the field of the public administration; the subcarrier of the university sport, although to have its proper logic and to be inserted in the sport field, acquires characteristics and proper laws of functioning of the fields politician and the public administration, that, in the limit, go to determine the actions of the agents in the interior of the subcarrier; the capital of the inserted agents in the subcarrier of the paranaense university sport had been basic to determine the nets of relation and for the decurrent maintenance of the positions, and profits of them.
