摘要：http://dx.doi.org/10.1590/S1414-49802009000100009As iniciativas de políticas públicas voltadas à prostituição têm sofrido uma inflexão, desde o final de século 20 deixando de ser objeto exclusivo de intervenção policial e sanitária, incluindo a perspectiva dos movimentos de prostitutas. No Brasil, é possível identificar iniciativas do Legislativo no campo da saúde no que se refere ao trabalho e aos direitos humanos nessa direção. O objetivo deste artigo é examinar duas dessas iniciativas: o Projeto de Lei n. 98/2003, apresentado pelo deputado federal Fernando Gabeira com vistas a reconhecer a prostituição como um “serviço de natureza sexual” e a legislação trabalhista que tratou de inserir a atividade de profissionais do sexo como parte da Classificação Brasileira de Ocupações.
其他摘要：Public policy initiatives aimed at prostitution have undergone changes since the end of the 20th century. They are no longer the exclusive objective of police intervention and hygienic concerns, and have come to include the perspective of prostitutes themselves. In Brazil, it is possible to identify legislative initiatives in the field of healthcare that refer to labor and human rights in this field. The purpose of this article is to examine two of these initiatives: Proposed Law n. 98/2003, presented by federal deputy Fernando Gabeira to recognize prostitution as a “service of a sexual nature” and the labor legislation that sought to insert the activity of sex professionals within the Brazilian Classification of Occupations.
