摘要:In this work, the results of research carried out with Lee Shulman, one of the best-known scholars in Education, are presented. This research values the figure of a teacher who has unrivalled knowledge in the teaching profession. If we look at his life story, we can follow his travelled path trying to understand how his personal and professional choices led him to opt for Education, as well as identify which difficulties, conflicts and satisfactions he obtained on this path. In terms of methodology, we opted for his life history and from Shulman´s narrative we were able to explore processes as well as individuals as collective building blocks of knowledge, learning and professional socialization resulting from meanings attributed to the path of his professional development. This work is the result of a semi-structured interview conducted by telephone and recorded. It lasted thirty minutes according to the original transcript in English. Lee Shulman´s voice, one of the great current scholars in Education shows how his personal and professional decisions contributed towards him becoming one of the best-known theorists in the area.
