摘要：This paper presents a reflection on the contribution of educational institution in full training (moral and intellectual) of an individual in society and problematization the issue of ethics in education, identifying this way if the educational institution has been successful in its performance towards the society regarding the formation of a national ethics. For this, it is necessary in principle a conceptual analysis on the relationship between ethics and education in order to verify that the teaching practices adopted for teaching in schools has been based on the principles of citizenship, so that in this way, the goal education, which is the construction of participatory citizens and aware, that is, individuals responsible and solidarity with the community and intellectually independent, are achieved significantly.
