  • 摘要:This research aims to investigate the representations of body from undergraduated students of Physical Education, and to compare the opinions of the beginners and the senior students from two different universities. The methodological approach includes questionnaires and documental analysis. Although some differences were identified between the institutions, the results indicated the predominance of a technical and biological perspective specifically on the beginners. The senior students seem to understand the body as integration. They also stress the technical and sportive knowledge for the promotion of health or aesthetic as the main dimension of the profession of Physical Educator.
