摘要:This article stems from a survey conducted with teachers of physical education of the Municipal School Network of Porto Alegre on the subject of violence in schools, in which we try to understand what is the thought that this group has on violence in schools and how it deals with this phenomenon. This is a descriptive-explanatory study in which interviews were conducted and questionnaires were handed out. The analytical process indicates that these teachers live in between a sense of insecurity as well as helplessness with regard to violence in schools and the complexity of the demands of teaching practice in schools in Porto Alegre, a capital city with significant rates of violence.
