摘要：El 1773, Lavoisier va escriure en el seu diari de laboratori que es disposava a «ocasionar una revolució en la física i la química» reexaminant tot allò que s'havia fet i dit sobre l'aire que es desprenia i es fixava en els cossos. Efectivament, la reconstrucció de la química que va propugnar Lavoisier va proporcionar, entre altres coses, una comprensió de l'estat gasós, fins a aleshores indiferenciat dels estats sòlid i líquid. Aquest article presenta una exploració històrica del procés que va conduir al reconeixement d'un tercer estat de la matèria a final del segle XVIII.
其他摘要：In 1773, Lavoisier wrote in his laboratory notebook his intention to cause a revolution in physics and chemistry by reviewing everything that had been done and by talking about the air released and how it is fixed by different materials. Indeed, the reconstruction of chemistry as advocated by Lavoisier provided, among other things, an understanding of the gaseous state previously undifferentiated from solid and liquid states. This article presents an exploration of the historical process that led to the recognition in the late eighteenth century of a third state of matter.
