摘要：The linguistic study of passive voice is quite complex and a neglected area in Bengali grammar emphasising the structure of standard colloquial form of the language. Most of the Bengali grammars are based on Sanskrit grammatical rules applying the morphological patterns of Tatsama words. Ignoring the oral forms used in spoken Bengali. An attempt is made here to explain the pros and cons of the passive form that is used in colloquial pattern applying the Transformational Generative method of Noam Chomsky.
