摘要：Child penitentiary should implement child rights convict appropriate national legislation and international attempts to fullfill human rights.Implementation of fullfillment the rights of convict reflected in the development implementation of child penitentiary.To see the fullfillment of the rights of the child convict, research has done in Lembaga Pemasyarakatan Klas II B Pontianak, using socia legal approach.This research efforts to produce conclusion of convict have not performed up to children, for lack of facilities and infrastructur for the development of facilities, lack of experys specialized in psychology, and the law as an instrument of national prison not fully regulate in accordance to convict of rights with the minimum standart rules.

Key word : Child protection, Human Right, Coaching young prisoners Abstrak Lembaga Pemasyarakatan anak sejatinya harus mengimplementasikan hak narapidana anak sesuai peraturan perundang-undangan nasional dan internasional sebagai upaya m emenuhi hak asasi manusia . Implementasi pemenuhan hak-hak narapidana tercermin dari pelaksanaan pembinaan terhadap anak dalam lembaga pemasyarakatan anak. Untuk melihat pemenuhan hak-hak narapidana anak, dilakukan penelitian di Lembaga Pemasyarakatan Kelas II B Pontianak, dengan menggunakan pendekatan sosio legal. Penelitian ini menghasilkan simpulan bahwa upaya perlindungan hak-hak narapidana anak belum dilaksanaka n secara maksimal, karena kurang sarana prasarana untuk fasilitas pembinaan, kurang tenaga ahli khususnya dibidang psikologi dan kerohanian, dan U ndang- U ndang Pemasyarakatan sebagai instrument nasional belum sepenuhnya mengatur hak narapidana anak yang selaras dengan standar minimum rules (SMR).
