摘要：This paper is a reflection on Evo Morales Aima’s (political leader of MAS) election victory in becoming president of the Republic of Bolivia in December, 2005. The political context before the election process and the main elements behind the ballot results are here analyzed. The paper also examines MAS’s strategy to achieve the country’s presidency as well as the nature of its victory through the analysis of Bolivia’s institutional organization and its new political map.
