摘要：Este artigo, apoiado em uma etnografia realizada no Centro de Treinamento do Caju, do Clube Atlético paranaense, objetiva refletir sobre o modo através do qual o CAP seleciona seus futuros atletas. Descrevendo as diferentes maneiras de recrutar jogadores, discuto sobre os limites da ciência para a detecção dos "talentos". Concluo que é na relação fenomenológica entre o olhar e o se-movimentar – do olheiro com o jogador – que o devir jogador de futebol se realiza.
其他摘要：This paper, supported by an ethnography in the Cashew Training Center, Clube Atlético Paranaense, reflects on the way in which the CAP selects its future athletes. Describing the different ways to recruit players, I discuss the limits of science to detect the "talents". I conclude that it is the phenomenological relationship between the eye and moving oneself - the scout with the player - that becoming a football player is held.
