摘要：http://dx.doi.org/10.5007/2175-8042.2009n32-33p28O objetivo deste texto é apresentar alguns elementos para reflexão da relação entre o papel político dos Organismos Internacionais do capital (Banco Mundial e ONU/UNESCO) e a área de Educação Física e esportes. Mais especificamente traremos alguns documentos destes intelectuais orgânicos da burguesia mundial que tematizem os grandes eventos esportivos. Com isso, será possível desnudar alguns elementos educativos da dominação burguesa em nosso tempo e sua incidência no campo da educação física e esporte.
