摘要：Os grupos de pesquisa surgem como uma nova forma institucional de potencializar as condições da produção do conhecimento científico. As diversas demandas externas, oriundas das agências de fomento e as tarefas e atividades diferentes atribuídas aos grupos de pesquisa têm gerado formas diversificadas de organização e têm motivado a construção de múltiplas experiências. Com o objetivo de mostrar os limites e as possibilidades dos grupos de pesquisa é apresentado o balanço de uma experiência que, como um dos casos significativos, revela as dificuldades e os desafios na busca de melhores condições para a produção da pesquisa científica no Brasil e, particularmente, na área da educação.
其他摘要：The groups of research emerge as a new way of strengthening the institutional conditionsof production of scientific knowledge. The various external demands, coming fromdevelopment agencies and the tasks and activities assigned to different research groupshave generated diverse forms of organization and have motivated the construction ofmultiple experiences. In order to show the limits and possibilities of the groups of researchthe rocking of an experience is presented that, as one of the significant cases, disclosesto the difficulties and the challenges in the search of better conditions for the productionof the scientific research in Brazil and, particularly, in the area of the education.
