摘要：The attitudes and values present in the relations between men and women in sac. Paulo city societyin the 30s are analysed through representations expressed in poetry, jokes, sayings and caricature forms, published by the railway company press. Such manifestations pointed out to tension and reorderings in relations between sex. By this sense, the construction of images that remit the concerns about "female danger" and the assumption of sexual roles, mainly in the conjugal life, became evident.
