摘要：A Southern African Customs Union (SACU) existe desde 11 de novembro de 1969 com a assinatura do Acordo de União Aduaneira entre África do Sul, Botsuana, Lesoto, Namíbia e Suazilândia, substituindo, assim, o Acordo de União Aduaneira de 1910. Na sequência da formação do Governo de Unidade Nacional na África do Sul, em abril de 1994, os Estados-membro concordaram sobre a renegociação do acordo vigente, a fim de democratizar a SACU. Os eixos de relacionamento do bloco ampliaram-se e traduzem, de certa forma, novas concepções e perspectivas em torno dos processos regionais.
其他摘要：The Southern African Customs Union (SACU) has existed since November 11, 1969 with the signing of the Customs Union Agreement between South Africa, Botswana, Lesotho, Namibia and Swaziland, thereby replacing the Customs Union Agreement of 1910. Following the formation of the Government of National Unity in South Africa in April 1994, Member States agreed on the renegotiation of the existing agreement in order to democratize the SACU. The block's relations axes have been enlarged and reflect in a certain way, new ideas and perspectives on regional processes.
