摘要:Na África sob domínio colonial alemão (1884-1919), as escolas foram lugares entrecruzados por diferentes culturas, línguas e religiões. Nas escolas missionárias ou governamentais, educadores europeus ou nativos conviveram nesses espaços de fronteiras. Eles próprios foram homens-fronteiras já que transitavam por campos geográficos, culturais, lingüísticos e religiosos distintos. O artigo trata desses educadores na fronteira entre dois mundos, dessas escolas e de alguns aspectos dessas fronteiras da educação durante o domínio colonial alemão na África. EDUCATIONAL FRONTIERS DURING THE COLONIAL GERMAN RULE IN AFRICA Abstract In Africa under the colonial german rule (1884-1919), the schools were places inter crossed by different cultures, languages and religions. In the missionary or governmental schools, European educators or natives lived in these frontier spaces. They were frontier-men, as they transcended distinct geographic, cultural, linguistic, and religious fields. The article treats these educators in the frontier between two worlds, these schools and some aspects of these educational frontiers during the colonial german rule in Africa. FRONTERAS DE LA EDUCACIÓN DURANTE EL DOMINIO COLONIAL ALEMÁN EN ÁFRICA Resumen En la África alemana bajo dominio colonial (1884-1919), las escuelas fueron lugares entrecruzados por diferentes culturas, lenguas y religiones. En las escuelas misionarias o gubernamentales, educadores europeos nativos convivieron en esos espacios de fronteras. Ellos mismos fueron hombres-fronteras ya que transitaban por campos geográficos, culturales, lingüísticos y religiosos distintos. El artículo trata sobre esos educadores en la frontera entre “dos mundos”, de esas escuelas y de algunos aspectos de esas fronteras de la educación durante el dominio colonial alemán en África. FRONTIÈRES DANS L'ENSEIGNEMENT ALLEMAND: POLITIQUE COLONIALE EN AFRIQUE Résumé Dans l’Afrique sous la domination coloniale allemande (1884-1919), les écoles ont été des lieux entrecroisés par differentes cultures, langues et religions. Dans les écoles missionaires ou gouvernemantales, les éducateurs européens ou indigènes ont vécu dans ces espaces frontaliers. Eux-même ils étaient des hommes-frontières puisque ils transitaient par des domaines géographiques, culturels, linguistiques et religieux distinctes. L’article fait le point sur ces éducateurs dans la frontière entre deux mondes, sur ces écoles et sur certains aspects de ces frontières de l’éducation pendant la domination coloniale allemande en Afrique.
