摘要：Este artigo descreve os aspectos multidimensionais da saúde das populações imigrantes e os seus descendentes, tomando como exemplo o caso português. Por um lado, coloca-se ênfase na importância da acessibilidade e das diferentes barreiras que a condicionam e por outro lado, salientam-se as intervenções do estado e da sociedade civil em prol da saúde dos imigrantes, num contexto actual marcado pela criseinternacional.Palavras chave: Imigrantes; Saúde; Acessibilidade; Desigualdade; Barreiras. This article describes the multidimensional aspects of health care for immigrant populations and their descendants, taking as an example the Portuguese case. On the one hand, the importance of accessibility and the different barriers that condition it are emphasized, and on the other hand, the interventions of the State and civil society in defense of immigrant health are highlighted, in the current context marked by international crisis.Keywords: Immigrants; Health; Accessibility; Inequality; Barriers.
