摘要：The denominative variants, represented by two or more lexical units, display, one withrespect to the other, some difference when referring to the same concept. In this sense, we realize that thedenominative variants keep, at the same time, a relationship of equivalence and difference since we donot find in any case of denominative variation a complete semantic identity among them. Thisrelationship of equivalence that denominative variants maintain among themselves, and that is, partial orrelative, is explicitly stated through the discursive production and more specifically by means of thetreatment procedures (Gülich & Kotschi 1995). In this paper, the mechanism of analysis used for thestudy of the explicit denominative variants and for the analysis of its semantic traits will be explained.Also, a proposal of a case typology of explicit denominative variation and the results obtained in thedetailed analysis of each of the types and subtypes proposed will be presented.
