摘要：This paper aims to describe forms of irrealer Konjunktiv (subjunctive sentences) and their functions in German sentences. This was a qualitative descriptive study. The objects of the research data were lingual units of Konjunktiv constructions with Irrealität meanings in German sentences. The subjects of the data were Partizip Perfekt in German sentences. The data sources were the Online–Grammatik: Irrealer Konjunktiv by Bensch und Stetter 2014 and Lehr- und Übungsbuch der deutschen Grammatik by Dreyer-Schmitt 2012. The data were collected by means of reading and noting techniques and analyzed by means of the translational, equivalent. The data validity was assessed through the semantic validity and the inter-rater techniques. Based on the studies that have been conducted, it can be concluded that there are five forms of irrealer Konjunktiv in German sentences, i.e.: (1) irrealer Wünschsatz with its form Wenn + Subjekt + doch/bloß/nur + Konj II!, (2) irrealer Bedingungssatz with its form Wenn + Subjekt + Konj II, Konj II + S, (3) Umschreibung des Konjunktivs II with its form würde + Infinitiv, (4) irrealer Vergleichssatz with its form Hauptsatz (Hs), als ob + Subjekt + Konj II, and (5) irrealer Folgesatz with its form Hs, als dass + Subjekt + Konj II. Based on the functions, irrealer Konjunktiv includes: (1) irrealer Wünschsatz used to express the subjunctive indicating a wish, (2) irrealer Bedinungssatz used to express the conditional subjunctive, (3) Umschreibung des Konjunktivs II mit würde+Infinitiv used to express an honorific meaning, (4) irrealer Vergleichssatz used to express a personification for one to be compared to another, and (5) irrealer Folgesatz used to express the subjunctive by giving (Verstärkung) an emphasis using adverbs.
