摘要：This paper aims to show that Brazilian Portuguese prosodic prominence, as the phrase accent and the Intonational contours, are aligned to the discourse segmentation which anchors the division of its discursive segments in terms of we call “strong words”. The investigation of these alignments supports the hypothesis presented in Lucente (2012) that there is a glottal oscillator present in the speech production model proposed by Barbosa (2006).
