摘要：O presente artigo tem uma conotação crítica em torno de três categorias centrais: o marxismo, o pluralismo epistemológico e a formação profissional do assistente social. Contudo, outras categorias mediam a reflexão, articulando e dando sentido a toda a discussão. Essas categorias complementares são: a totalidade dialética, o ecletismo enquanto contraposto ao pluralismo -, a crise dos paradigmas, - influenciando diretamente o pensamento social, e, por sua vez, a formação profissional. Toda essa reflexão buscou esclarecer a relação complexa que há entre as três categorias centrais referidas acima, buscando desocultar os estigmas e a ausência de clareza em torno do pluralismo epistemológico,apontando-o como alternativa de superação das visões de mundo ortodoxas e discriminatórias no âmbito acadêmico -, que não permitem a abertura para a interlocução entre as várias e distintas teorias sociais, de forma coerente, clara, crítica e respeitosa.
其他摘要：The present article has a connotation critical around three categories central offices, that are: the marxism, epistemológico pluralism and the professional formation of the Social Assistant. However, other categories measured the reflection, articulating and giving felt to all the quarrel. These complementary categories are: the totality dialectic, the ecleticism - while opposed to pluralism -, the crisis of the paradigms- influencing directly the social thought, and, in turn, the professional formation. All this reflection searched to clarify the complex relation that has enters the three categories cited central offices the top searching to desocutar the stigmata and the absence of clarity in lathe of epistemológico pluralism, and being pointed this while alternative of overcoming of the orthodox and discriminatory visões of world - in the academic scope -, that not in the several and distinct social theories allow the opening for the interlocution between, of coherent, clear form,critical and respectful.
