摘要：With the use of the probing technique and Buzan's ImindMap software, this qualitative study focused on eliciting, plotting, probing, and redirecting alternative conceptions in literature. The total population of 4th year BS Psychology students were the respondents of this study. Through a 3- phase interview session, the study funneled four (4) interesting concepts based on the respondents' schema. Specifically, it focuses on fiction: as a product of imagination, subjective, man-made, and abstract idea.Key Words: alternative conception, literature, eliciting, probing, addressing, mind map
