摘要：Dieser Beitrag beschäftigt sich mit Vorteilen, die für die Untersuchung von sozialen Phänomen aus der Kombination von quantitativen und qualitativen Verfahren erwachsen, und verdeutlicht dies an Beispielen aus der Infertilitätsforschung: Hier wurde erst durch die Verbindung beider Verfahrensgruppen ein Einblick in das Forschungsfeld eröffnet, der breiter und zugleich facettenreicher ist, als es im Falle der Nutzung nur einer Methodologie möglich gewesen wäre. Es wird gezeigt, wie die so gewonnenen Informationen geholfen haben, Forschung und Praxis einander näher zu bringen, und es werden Implikationen sowohl für Politik als auch für die weitere Forschung deutlich. 其他摘要：This article discusses the benefit of combining a quantitative and qualitative approach in studying social phenomena and illustrates it relative to the experience of individuals struggling with infertility.
