摘要:In order to participate in the debate that was generated on consortia currently presented in this paper a description of the experience of the proceedings in the Network of Integrated Document Information Universities Board members REDSIID American University / CSUCA, which claims to be an academic consortium librarianship. Cooperation structure that could favor the Central American region. Globalization has created a state of confrontation between the currents of thought. Academic training tends to be more horizontal setting aside the intellectual elites. However, the horizontal, allowing equal access to all social groups and all levels of education, violates local identities and universities. The same university autonomy seems to lose force, to extend living spaces and community feedback, one of them, university-industry linkages. Consequently, the university model must reconceptualize its processes, including: access to information, access to knowledge and access to learning.
