摘要：This document briefly describes the origin of the "Knowledge Center on / of Indigenous Ethnic Groups Centroamericanos" called "Project GEIC". Outlines its mission, objectives and activities in the first stage in Costa Rica. It also explains the process of creating the database CEGE and presents some statistics compiled from the information contained herein.
