摘要：This article is an analysis of metric output of the Americas Central Geographic Magazine, published by the School of Geographical Sciences at the National University (Costa Rica), which through training series and analysis units Study: author, year, language, etc.., one can obtain valuable data for evaluating the performance and quality of the magazine, in the period 1991-2002. Through this study, found that in this period editions of the magazine were irregular and a decreasing level of production in each of the issues discussed, posting their most productive years 27 articles, and reaching four in his years with lower production. Moreover, we analyze various points of interest in order to establish the behaviour of the magazine and the conditions under which occurred, affecting a positive or negative output of the same.
