摘要：O objetivo deste artigo é discutir as relações existentes entre trauma, memória e esquecimento e os anos ditatoriais no Brasil. Procura-se investigar as possíveis razões que contribuem para um silêncio coletivo acerca do mesmo período. Propõe-se ainda uma discussão acerca das mesmas questões a partir de sua representação no cinema, sobretudo no filme O que é isso, companheiro?
