摘要：Recently has if noticed the notable quantitative and qualitative growth of the access to the internet, since the high-speed connections are, every time, more accessible. Now, the users are also producing of information. This condition, allied to the need of agile obtaining of information, transform the internet in a repository of data which not always assist efficiently to the users' needs. Before this scenery, appears the Semantic Web, denomination for this new apprenticeship of the internet that has as objective processes the contents published coming of several sources propitiating a highly structured net of information and favoring the understanding of these contents for the digital systems. Several professional sections and the society will feel the arrival of the Semantic Web. But, in matter, a special attention will exist for the relevance of the Semantic Web for the Science Information. The Semantic Web will allow the progress significant of the indexation techniques and recovery of the information in net.
