摘要:This paper presents a part of a research which set out to register and analyze pedagogic practices in Physical Education (PE) for children. The analysis was carried out in three public institutes in Florianopolis. It involved a large set of observations, analyses of reports organized by PE teachers, interviews with the latter and other personnel at the Institutes. It also considered the municipality guidelines and the public Pedagogical Policy of each institute. The results show that PE classes have been trying to break with schooling models of children’s education and in this way has been finding a ‘place’ in the moments of relaxation, mealtimes, in the playground, arrival and going home which make up the routine of the institute, as well as in the collective work projects (organized and carried out in each unit), all of which constitute moments for promoting refinement.
