摘要：A poluição atmosférica é uma realidade crescente em todo mundo, devido a grande quantidade de resíduos que são diariamente lançados, principalmente pela queima de combustíveis fósseis e resíduos industriais. O presente trabalho apresenta a distribuição de líquens ao longo de um gradiente de urbanização na cidade de Estrela, RS. Como transecto foi escolhida uma rua que atravessa o centro da cidade até chegar em uma área com características rurais. A rua foi dividida em seis pontos, na qual três encontram-se em local completamente urbanizado, dois pontos encontram-se em área com poucas residências e características rurais, inclusive com estrada de chão e um ponto de transição, entre o urbanizado e o não urbanizado. A metodologia utilizou o programa CorelDraw 12 para cálculo do percentual de cobertura de líquens nas árvores. Os resultados indicam uma redução no percentual de líquens em relação ao gradiente de urbanização e ao gradiente de ruralização. Os pontos localizados próximos à área de transição rural/urbana apresentaram maiores percentuais de presença de líquens.
其他摘要：Air pollution is a growing reality around the world due to large amount of released daily waste, mainly from burning fossil fuels and industrial waste. This work shows the distribution of lichens alongan urbanization gradient in the city of Estrela, RS. The analysis was done along a street that was considered a transect, through the center of the town until reach an area with rural characteristics. The street was divided into six points, in which three are near downtown; two points are in an area with few homes and rural features, including an unpaved road and a point of transition between the urbanized and rural area. The methodology uses the CorelDraw 12 software to calculate the lichens coverage over the trees. The results indicate a reduction in the percentage of lichens in relation to the urban and rural gradient. The points located near the transition rural / urban areas presented higher percentage of lichens presence.
