摘要：Um fenômeno constatado aqui no Brasil e em outras partes do mundo tem levado o teatro a inúmeros contextos.Uma grande diversidade de práticas teatrais alarga o campo da Pedagogia do Teatro e exige que as pesquisas acadêmicas ampliem seus focos de interesse.O artigo pretende refletir sobre a abrangência da área da pedagogia teatral hoje, além de trazer para discussão o termo que ganha destaque internacional - applied theatre/ teatro aplicado.Publicações recentes, em língua inglesa, revelam que a busca pela compreensão da pluralidade de iniciativas, nomenclaturas, métodos etc.é compartilhada por pesquisadores também de outros países.Em vários lugares do mundo, a academia tenta responder, com maior ou menor agilidade, à emergência dessa grande diversidade de práticas.
其他摘要：A phenomenon observed here in Brazil as well as other parts of the world is bringing the theatre to many new social situations. A large diversity of theatre practices is widening the field
of Theatre Pedagogy requiring that academic research broadens its field of study. This article
considers the scope of theatre pedagogy today and offers for discussion a term which is gaining international usage: applied theatre. Recent publications in English reveal that the search
for understanding the wealth of initiatives, classification, methods etc. is shared by researchers
from many countries. In many parts of the world, academic studies are responding to the emergence of this large diversity of practices.
