摘要：As cavalhadas de Pirenópolis, um ritual equestre que atualmente ocorre todos os anos por ocasião dos festejos do Divino Espírito Santo, têm uma história que se relaciona diretamente com as diversas transformações urbanas ocorridas na cidade a partir dos anos 40 do século XX. Todo o processo, marcado por conflitos sociais em torno da delimitação de espaços físicos e políticos, imprimiu nela características que a transformaram em uma das principais manifestações culturais do local. 其他摘要：The Cavalhadas of Pirenópolis, an event of the Divine Holy Espirit suffered the consequences of the several urban transformations in the city from the forties of the XXth century. The whole process had been marked by social conflicts around the boundaries of physical and political spaces and printed in its own characteristics that turned it one of the main cultural manifestations of the place.
