摘要：Este artigo pretende trazer algumas considerações sobre a infância voltada para questões históricas e sociológicas, centrando tal reflexão para uma possível sociologia da e para a infância. Procura mostrar a origem do conceito de infância, enquanto construção social. Para tanto, no primeiro e segundo tópicos, as autoras trazem um breve resgate da história da infância e sua origem até a modernidade. No terceiro tópico, acendem reflexões acerca da infância já na contemporaneidade. E, por fim, no quarto tópico trazem à tona o surgimento de uma possível sociologia da infância, levando-se em consideração o próprio histórico da construção da infância. Palavras-Chave: Infância. Abstract: This article intends to come up with some considerations about childhood, geared to historical and sociological issues and focusing such reflection on a possible childhood sociology. It seeks to show the origin of the childhood concept as a social construction. For such purpose, in the first and second topics, the authors show a brief background on childhood history and its origin up to modernity. In the third topic they make reflections concerning childhood in contemporary time. Finally, in the fourth topic, they bring up the appearance of a possible childhood sociology, taking into account their own history of childhood construction. Keywords: Childhood. Childhood History.
