  • 摘要:O estudo pretende descrever e analisar os fundamentos e as perspectivas atuais da pesquisa etnográfica na educação, tendo como fio condutor a relevância dos estudos sobre o cotidiano escolar. Ressaltamos o papel da pesquisa no processo educativo, enfatizando alguns aspectos da abordagem de pesquisa qualitativa, como delimitação do problema, hipóteses/pressupostos e relatando, nesta perspectiva, sobre a pesquisa etnográfica na educação: instrumentos, fundamentos, aplicabilidade e princípios, entretanto, observamos que, atualmente, são realizadas pesquisas do “tipo etnográficas”, utilizando-se dos mesmos instrumentos, mas com menor permanência do pesquisador no campo de pesquisa. Destacamos que, nessa vertente metodológica, são analisados o cotidiano escolar e a educação, concebidos enquanto processo social, cultural e histórico. PALAVRAS-CHAVE: Pesquisa qualitativa. We stress the research paper in the educational process, emphasizing any boarding qualitative research aspects, like problem delimitation, hypotheses/presuppose, and relating in this perspective on the ethnographical research in the education: instruments, foundations, applicable and principles, however note that are nowadays accomplished ethnographical kind researches”, using of the same instruments, but with researcher's minor permanence in the research field. We highlight that in this methodological slope are analyzed the school everyday and the education is conceived while social, cultural and historical process. KEY WORDS: Qualitative research.
