摘要：En este artículo se lleva a cabo una descripción de las características demográficas, penales y psicopatológicas de 162 sujetos que se encuentran en prisión por haber cometido un delito grave de violencia contra la pareja. Además, se hace una comparación en todas las variables estudiadas entre los sujetos con homicidio y sin homicidio. Los resultados ponen de manifiesto la existencia de pensamientos irracionales sobre la mujer y sobre la utilización de la violencia como una fonna aceptable de resolver los problemas cotidianos. Desde una perspectiva psicopatológics, no se observa un alto grado de sintomatología en la muestra total. La comparación entre los sujetos homicidas y los no homicidas muestra la existencia de diferencias significativas en la edad y en el tiempo cumplido de condena (superior en ambas variables en los sujetos homicidas). Sin embargo, ambos subgrupos no difieren en las variables psicopatol6gicas asociadas. Se comentan las implicaciones de este estudio para la investigación y para la práctica clinica.
其他摘要：In this paper a description of the demographic, penal and psychopatho/ogical characteristics of 162 men, who were in prison beca use of having committed a serious offence of gender violence, was carried out. Furthermore, a comparison in all the variables studied among the subjects with homicide and those without homicide was done. The results showed the existence of irrational beliefs both about women and about violence as a strategy to cope with everyday difficulties. From a psychopa thologica I point of view, a high degree of symptomatology in the whole sample is not observed. Comparison between homicides and no homicides showed statistical differences in age and in months in prison (higher in homicides than in no homicides). However, there were not any differences between groups in psychopathological variables. Implications of these results for further research and clin/cal practice are commented upon.
